He has gone straight to a shopping mall in new Town. Xtra Time had a chat with him. Here are the excerpts. XT) After the match you broke into tears? Why? Pressure has relieved? Dong: I have been going through very tough situations. I have been trying to play well but couldn’t. That’s why I cried after scoring two goals against Mohun Bagan. In the last derby I have scored a brace but after that i couldn't replicate my form. I was shattered. After scoring the goal yesterday tears automatically rolled down my cheek. XT) How did you overcome this difficult phase? Dong: My girlfriend Haruka’s motivation, inspiration of my teammates,  Jesus’s and hard work. XT) Do you know if you had scored the hat-trick yesterday you would have touched Chidi as he has the only hat-trick in derby. Dong: I am satisfied with my two goals. I would have been happier if I have scored the hat-trick. To error is human. On who score a goal is a human being. One who miss a goal is also a human being. XT) So What do you think after winning the Mohun Bagan match. I-League is confirmed? Dong:  No No. next 4 matches are very tough. We have a very important match on 5^th April against Mumbai FC. We will be playing at our home. It will be an added advantage. Among the remaining four matches Bengaluru FC match will be very tough. XT) Ranty didn’t take the penalty. Rather he wants you to take the penalty. . What is the reason behind this? You and Ranty have been sharing  the 304 no room. Is this something about that? Dong: Look Ranty is a great player. He knows how to motivate a player who is down.. That’s why he is a true leader. XT) Ranty gave the ball to you to take the penalty instead of him. That’s why you are saying this? When Mohun Bagan got the penalty what is going on your mind? Dong: No No. That’s not true. Derby is a very high voltage match. Everybody wants to score in this kind of matches. Moreover he is right now the highest scorer. What do you think it is very easy? I was in tension. If he scored the penalty it will be very bad for the supporters. XT) You have scored a brace against Mohun Bagan in CFL. Yesterday also you have scored against them in the I-League. According to you which is the best? Dong: Definitely I-league. You can’t compare I-league with CFL. Before yesterdays match I had a goal drought for 10 matches. But in CFL my performance was much much better. It is a god gift. Do you know Haruka also cried yesterday. XT) What did the coach said in the dressing room after the match? Dong: He congratulated me. XT) Do you have the opportunity to have a chat with Bhaichung Bhutia? Dong: No. But I have earlier met him during the last derby match. XT) Till now how many messages you have got? Dong: My mobile inbox is full of congratulatory messages. I have stopped reading messages. XT) So will you be marrying now? Dong: To be frank I have no time and space. We are very happy right now. At least I have no such plan in this year. XT) What is your view on your team mates? Dong: I have not seen such team mates. They have belief in me that I can do it. XT) Which Foreign club do you support? Dong: In England Manchester City and in Spain Real Madrid. XT) Why not Barcelona? Dong: Real Madrid has very good players but they have not won as many matches as Barcelona. XT) Who is your favourite player? Dong: Park Ji Sung. XT) What is written on your tattoo? Dong: God Will Test You Through Pain and Failure. After Haruka’s arrival Dong said that he wants to spend some quality time with his girlfriend.
