XtraTime Web Desk: Former India cricketer and legend Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday decided to bat for anti racism. The master blaster shared a quote from iconic South African leader Nelson Mandela on his twitter. He tweeted, “ Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to unite the world in a way that little else does."

Tendulkar also shared a video released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on diversity in the wake of black American George Floyd's death in Minneapolis, which has sparked a huge protest in the country. The ICC shared a clip of the final moments of England's World Cup win from 2019 in which Jofra Archer bowls the highly-dramatic Super Over. "Without diversity, cricket is nothing. Without diversity, you don't get the full picture," the ICC said in a tweet.

Several cricketers from around the globe including the likes of Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, KL Rahul, and Darren Sammy have condemned the incident. All of them spoke against the global pandemic called racism.
George Floyd was strangled to death by a white police officer as he knelt over his neck for nine minutes in spite of him gasping for breath.
