Xtra Time Web Desk : Former World Cup Winning Team India Captain Kapil Dev has now opened up on the alleged Kohli-BCCI rift to. The differences in between the statements of Virat Kohli and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly over the white ball captaincy has been staggering to say the least which has created unnecessary controversies over the past one day.

In an interview with ABP News, the Haryana Hurricane said, "It is not good to point fingers on anybody at this point in time. The South Africa tour is coming and please pay attention to the tour. "I would say Board president is Board president but yes the Indian cricket team captain is also a big thing. But talking badly about each other in public, I don't think it is a good thing, whether it is Sourav or Kohli. Aap situation ko control kijiye, behtar ye hai ki aap desh ke baare mein sochiye (Please control the situation and it's better to think about the country). Jo galat hai woh kal pata chal hi jayega (whatever is wrong we will get to know) but I don't think it is right to stoke a controversy before a tour."

Now that Team India has departed for the South Africa tour, it would be intriguing to see how the team performs against the Proteas amidst the conundrums around Indian cricket.
