Xtra Time Web Desk: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced the schedule for upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the Caribbean and USA in June. The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Eisenhower Park will host the marquee clash between India and Pakistan. The Indian cricket team is slated to play two more matches at the same venue. The Men in Blue will kickstart their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Ireland on June 5 at the same venue. The Asian giants will also lock horns with the hosts USA in New York on June 12. But the latest pictures and videos that is being surfaced on social media will leave you in utter disbelief.  Journalist Peter Della Penna has recently shared some photos and videos of the venue where the matches will be played in New York which will leave the fans in shock.

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Eisenhower Park will host the marquee clash between India and Pakistan. It is learnt an estimated US$30m will be spent to make a makeshift arrangement including stands which will be dismantled a week after the event. It is expected the temporary stands will have a capacity to hold 30000 spectators. Although the schedule is out but there are no signs of any work at the venue yet.

The T20 World Cup 2024 will see 20 teams participating and a total number of 55 games. It will be the first time that a major ICC tournament will be taking place in the USA. As many as 16 games will be played in the region with eight of them being staged in New York.
