XtraTime Web Desk: Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has been very active, working tirelessly to help the needy people of Pakistan during the coronavirus pandemic. The former swashbuckling all rounder with the help of his foundation (Shahid Afridi Foundation) has been visiting the rural areas of Pakistan to distribute food and essential items. As part of his noble initiative, Afridi recently visited a Hindu temple (Lakshmi Narayan temple) in Karachi to distribute essential food items. Afridi took to social media platform Twitter to post a few photographs of his visit to the temple where he was joined by legendary Pakistani squad player Jahangir Khan.

“We are in it together and we shall prevail together. Unity is our strength. Visited Sri Lakshmi Narain mandir along with @JK555squash President @SAFoundationN to deliver essential food items. Ensuring #HopeNotOut,” the former Pakistan captain tweeted.
