The crucial game will be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and marks the final league match for both teams in IPL 2024. Chahar, known for his recurring injuries, sustained his latest one after participating in eight games this season. His absence has significantly impacted CSK, who have struggled with multiple injuries within their squad. During CSK's preparation in Bengaluru, Deepak Chahar was seen bowling in full intensity and this indicates that the seamer is fit to play against RCB. Whether he will be directly integrated into the playing XI or not is something that remains to be seen but since he is fit, the Chennai management won't shy away from including him in the starting eleven tomorrow.

Deepak Chahar's injury:

The injury occurred on May 1st during CSK's home game against Punjab Kings. Chahar, who had already been nursing a niggle, was unable to complete even one over. He bowled just two deliveries, conceding a boundary before exiting the field in pain. CSK posted a total of 162, setting a target of 163 for Punjab. However, Chahar's early departure disrupted their bowling plans, allowing Punjab's top order to capitalize and post 113 runs. Shashank Singh and Sam Curran then secured a seven-wicket victory for Punjab with a strong partnership.

After the match, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming had said this about Chahar's injury, "The travelogue is pretty busy. There's a lot of ins and outs. So, Deepak Chahar doesn't look good. The initial feeling wasn't great. So, I'm hoping for a more positive report when the physio and the doctor have a look."
