Mohun Bagan humbled 1-4 by FC Pune City
Internet Desk: Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan suffered a humiliating 1-4 defeat at the hands of Indian Super League side FC Pune City played at the Balewadi Stadium on Monday. The Mariners were trailing 0-1 at half time. Brazilian Marcelinho scored the goal for the hosts. The Green and Maroon conceded three more goals in the second half to return empty handed. The goal scorers for Pune were Alfarro, Ajay Singh and Isaac. The only saving grace for the Kolkata outfit was a goal scored by Dipanda Dicka in the second half. Bagan Coach Sanjay Sen would not like to read too much into the result as his main focus is to see his combinations ahead of the I League which is likely to start from November 25. Captain Sony Norde and Kingsley looked impressive. Other Kolkata giants East Bengal also suffered a defeat at the hands of the FC Pune City.
