Xtra Time Web Desk:The T20 World Cup champions, Team India, are set to return home early on July 4 from Barbados. BCCI has arranged a chartered flight for the team and Indian journalists, who were stranded in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl. The Indian team, along with the country's journalists, will arrive in New Delhi early in the morning.

Following their arrival, the Indian team will have a busy schedule on Thursday. They are scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and then fly out to Mumbai for celebrations. The BCCI has planned a grand day for the world champions, including an open bus parade near the Wankhede Stadium and a ceremony at the stadium itself. A large fanbase is expected to welcome the team in both New Delhi and Mumbai, eagerly anticipating a World Cup win since 2011.

6:00 AM: Flight from Barbados lands in New Delhi
9:30 AM: Team India leaves for PM Modi's residence

Parade: 1 km long bus parade to Wankhede Stadium

After their title win, India was unable to leave Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl, which developed into a Category 5 storm. The BCCI arranged a chartered flight to bring the team and journalists home safely. An Air India Boeing 777 flight was dispatched to carry the Indian team directly back to India.
