Former cricketers like Irfan Pathan, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, and Munaf Patel were the masterminds of this prank. During India’s home ODI series against Sri Lanka in 2008, they instructed Kohli to bow down to Sachin Tendulkar calling it as the tradition of the team! Taking it seriously, Kohli jumped to bow down to Tendulkar. However, Tendulkar understood the situation and stopped Kohli doing the same.

Making his India debut in 2008 during the ODI series against Sri Lanka, Kohli supressed many records set by Tendulkar but till date he has the same admiration for his idol in his heart!
