Overall, Anshul Kamboj is only the sixth Indian bowler to pick up a First-Class 10-wicket haul with legendary leg-spinners Anil Kumble and Subhash Gupte among others on the exclusive list.
Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj entered the record books as he became only the third bowler in Ranji Trophy to claim all 10 wickets in an innings.
Bowling against Kerala on Day 3 of the fifth-round clash in Lahli, Kamboj razed through the entire Kerala top-order, dismissing each of the four half-centurions by tea, before achieving the milestone. In the process, Kamboj also went past 50 First-Class wickets in his 19th appearance.

Kamboj had entered stumps last evening with eight wickets to his tally. In the first over of the morning, Kamboj castled Basil Thampi for his ninth wicket and completed his milestone 10th wicket by dismissing Shoun Roger, bundling Kerala for 291 in the first innings. Kamboj’s final figures read: 30.1-9-49-10.
Kamboj is only the third bowler in Ranji history to pick all 10 wickets in an innings, following in the footsteps of Premangsu Mohan Chatterjee and Pradeep Sunderam. While Chatterjee was the first bowler to achieve the feat in the 1956-57 season for Bengal, Sunderam claimed all 10 wickets in an innings for Rajasthan in a match against Vidarbha in the 1985-86 edition.
Overall, Kamboj is only the sixth Indian bowler to pick up a First-Class 10-wicket haul with legendary leg-spinners Anil Kumble, Subhash Gupte and Debasis Mohanty being the others on the exclusive list.

Kamboj, who recently represented the India A team in the ACC Emerging Asia Cup tournament in Oman, had started his domestic red-ball season with a similarly outrageous haul in the Duleep Trophy. In his second outing in the tournament, Kamboj became only the third pacer to record an eight-wicket haul in the Duleep Trophy, behind Mohanty (10/46) and Ashoke Dinda (8/123).
Kamboj rose to the spotlight during the last domestic season and was picked up by Mumbai Indians for the IPL 2024 season. As Haryana clinched the Vijay Hazare Trophy title for the first time, Kamboj was among the leading wicket-takers, taking 17 scalps from 10 matches.
Kamboj has 23 wickets from 15 List-A games to his name. Before making his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians in 2024, Kamboj had featured in only nine T20 matches.
