Xtra Time Web Desk: West Indies registered a thumping 120-run win against Pakistan on Day 3 of the second Test at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The victory marked their first win in Pakistan since 1990 and leveled the two-match series 1-1.

The star of the match was Jomel Warrican, whose outstanding left-arm spin dismantled Pakistan's batting lineup. Warrican recorded his second Test five-wicket haul, finishing with remarkable figures of 5/27 in 16 overs. His performance triggered a dramatic collapse, bundling Pakistan out for 133 in pursuit of a 254-run target.

Early Wickets Cripple Pakistan

Starting the day at 76/4, Pakistan lost Saud Shakeel (13) on the third ball of the day to Kevin Sinclair, caught at first slip. In the next over, Warrican castled Kashif Ali, leaving Pakistan at a precarious 76/6 without adding a run to the overnight total.

Mohammad Rizwan, the team's last hope, tried to steady the innings with Salman Agha. The duo added 39 runs for the seventh wicket. However, Warrican's relentless spell dismissed Salman Agha (15) and later dismantled Rizwan's stumps for 31, crushing Pakistan's faint hopes of a miraculous recovery.

West Indies Seal Historic Win

Pakistan’s tailenders, Noman Ali and Sajid Khan, had no answers to the West Indies' spin dominance. Gudakesh Motie dismissed Noman Ali, and Warrican sealed the victory by bowling Sajid Khan, completing figures of 9/70 for the match.

Warrican was deservedly named Player of the Match for his exceptional bowling and Player of the Series for his 19 wickets and 85 runs across two matches.

This historic victory ended West Indies' 34-year wait for a Test win in Pakistan, with their last triumph dating back to November 1990 in Faisalabad under Desmond Haynes' captaincy.
