Xtra Web Desk: KL Rahul's intense discussion with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjeev Goenka during an IPL 2024 match has sparked rumors about his future with the franchise. Although Goenka recently stated that Rahul remains "family," his exit from LSG is a possibility, particularly with the upcoming mega auction ahead of the next IPL season. When asked about player retention and captaincy, Goenka clarified that no decisions would be made until the BCCI announces the retention policies. He said, "We have all of September, October, and November to decide. We haven’t thought about the team going forward yet because the retention numbers—whether it's three, four, or six—are still unknown." As the IPL 2025 season approaches, all eyes will be on KL Rahul and LSG, with fans eagerly awaiting the final decision on his future amidst ongoing speculation.
