From over 1,000 initial registrations, 577 players have been shortlisted to fill 204 slots—134 for Indians and 70 for overseas players. Punjab Kings lead with the largest purse, while Rajasthan Royals have the smallest.

A total of 82 players, including Jofra Archer, feature in the top ₹2 crore price bracket. Other base price categories range from ₹1.5 crore to ₹30 lakh, with England legend James Anderson making a surprise appearance at ₹1.25 crore after retiring from Test cricket. Bihar’s 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the youngest entrant, has already made waves with a century against Australia U-19s. Among uncapped Indians, talents like Ashutosh Sharma and Mahipal Lomror, known for their impactful performances last season, will attract attention.
