The drama unfolded in the 17th over when Rizwan unsettled Hardik Pandya just before delivery, forcing the Indian all-rounder to pause. Visibly irritated, Hardik changed his direction and faked a throw at Rizwan, muttering a few words under his breath. The intense face-off quickly went viral on social media.

As the contest heated up, young Indian pacer Harshit Rana also had a fiery moment with Rizwan. In the 21st over, as Rizwan pulled a short delivery to deep square leg, he inadvertently collided with Rana while running between the wickets. The fast bowler, already charging in with aggressive intent, was visibly annoyed by the incident.
