IPL 2019: Rahane and his team receives pep-talk from this former Rajasthan Royals cricketer
XtraTime Web Desk: Rajasthan Royals cricketers on Wednesday had a surprise visitor during training ahead of the crunch Indian Premier League clash against table toppers Chennai Super Kings in Jaipur. Former Australian left arm spinner Brad Hogg, who donned the Rajasthan Royals colours during IPL 6. He spent some time with the current group of players including Shreyas Gopal, Krishnappa Gowtham and others. The former Royals cricketer was also seen chatting with English opener Jos Buttler.
“I have having a look at the Rajasthan Royals players train. This was one of my old teams, in fact my first IPL team that I played for. It’s great to be back here and I really love the state of Rajasthan,” said Hogg in a video message posted by the franchise on its official twitter handle.
“I love watching the team train exceptionally hard. Yes they (Rajasthan Royals) are at the bottom half of the ladder. It is going to be a huge challenge facing a top opponent like CSK (Chennai Super Kings). I think they might be able to clinch a victory on their home turf. We really need to make the venue turned into a fortress and the Pink City will always be one for the Rajasthan Royals,” signed off Hoggie.We're always up for a surprise visit from an #RR legend right before a crunch game! ?
