Xtra Time Web Desk: The third Test between India and Australia at The Gabba saw an amusing exchange between Mohammed Siraj and Marnus Labuschagne. During the 33rd over on Day 2, Siraj switched the bails at Labuschagne’s end, sparking laughter and banter. Labuschagne responded by promptly swapping the bails back, adding to the lighthearted moment amidst the intense battle.

Marnus Labuschagne quickly switched the bails back after Siraj’s move. Brett Lee found the exchange amusing. However, Brad Haddin warned Labuschagne about the "gamesmanship," adding it was a tactic to disrupt his concentration.

“I love this,” the former speedster said.

“They’re trying to get a concentration lapse from Marnus. The two batters are starting to look comfortable at the crease and those little moments in play are all you need just change concentration,” Haddin said after the bail swap incident.

“Marnus has just got to get back into his bubble and worry about batting. They’re little things that you can’t let break your concentration.”

Siraj's antics, coupled with Nitish Kumar Reddy's sharp bowling in the very next over, yielded results for India. Labuschagne, who had frustrated the bowlers with a 55-ball stay for just 12 runs, edged Reddy’s delivery to Virat Kohli in the slips. Kohli’s animated celebration silenced the crowd that had been jeering Siraj, bringing India an important breakthrough.

Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah provided an ideal start to India’s day, dismissing Usman Khawaja (21) and Nathan McSweeney (9). Despite efforts from Steve Smith and Labuschagne to rebuild, Siraj’s playful interruption and India’s disciplined bowling turned the tide, keeping Australia on the back foot.
