BGT 2024-25: Rohit Sharma set to fly to Australia but participation in Perth Test is uncertain, why?
Xtra Time Web Desk: India captain Rohit Sharma is set to fly out to Australia with the team to prepare for Border-Gavaskar Trophy but his participation in Perth Test is not guaranteed. Rohit is expecting his second child with wife Ritika Sajdeh so he may miss Perth Test and possibly be available for second Test.
Earlier, Sharma was asked about his availability for the opening Test against Australia to which the batter had no definitive reply. Sharma answered that he was keeping his fingers crossed on his participation but did not know for sure at the moment.

A source stated, "He is travelling but his participation in the 1st Test is yet not confirmed. Will see what happens next anything in regards to this. His availability is subject to his personal matter."
Asper the reports of PTI, Rohit Sharma has joined a six hours long marathon meeting conducted by BCCI in presence of BCCI president Roger Binny, secratary Jay Shah and Chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar where some questions have been asked to him and head coach.
