IPL2021: Ben Stokes flies back to England , Rajasthan gifts him a jersey with his Late father's name on it
Xtratime Web Desk : Rajasthan Royals franchise a dealt a body blow in their very first match of the Ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) as they lost their English all rounder Ben Stokes due to a finger injury. Later reports confirmed that Stokes will miss the rest of the 14 th edition of IPL.
In their very first match versus Punjab Kings Stokes took a catch while fielding in the outfield. While completing the catch he broke on of his finger. Later on ,on that day he opened the innings for the franchise.
Stokes flew back to his country to have a surgery on his finger. The injury sustained means he may be out for 12 weeks. Before he left India , Rajasthan gave him a special send off gift by gifting him a jersey with the name of his late father written on it. Later on franchise posted the same picture from their official twitter account.
