Xtra Time Web Desk: During a delightful exchange with renowned comedian Kapil Sharma, Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma disclosed two teammates he'd never room with. Rohit and Shreyas Iyer appeared as guests on Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show, engaging in jovial banter with the host.

In a playful chat with Kapil, Rohit humorously revealed his reluctance to share accommodation with PBKS captain Shikhar Dhawan and DC skipper Rishabh Pant, labeling them as untidy. Despite having shared the locker room with both Dhawan and Pant during their tenure in the Indian team, Rohit jestingly expressed his reservations during one of the show's segments, citing their messy habits and penchant for letting their rooms stay uncleaned for several days.

Presently representing Mumbai in the Indian Premier League, Rohit is slated to lead India in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup to be held in the West Indies and USA.

“Everyone gets a single room nowadays. But if I get a chance to share a single room, there are two people with whom I wouldn't want to share rooms with - Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant. Bade gande hai (They are very messy). After practice, they just toss their clothes on the bed,” said Rohit.

“Their room is always on DND because they sleep till 1PM. The housekeeping staff that comes in the morning to clean their rooms, so it's important for them to put their rooms on DND. Otherwise, they will barge in. That's why their rooms often stay messy for three to four days. It becomes a problem for the people staying around them. So, I don't think I will be able to stay with them,” Rohit added.

Rohit further addressed India's defeat in the 2023 ODI World Cup final against Australia, expressing anticipation of fan disappointment for losing the prestigious event on home turf. However, he was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming support extended to the team. India had clinched victory in 10 consecutive matches before facing defeat against Australia in the World Cup final held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
