Time Web Desk: Rohit Sharma showcased dangerous form against Delhi Capitals in Match 20 of IPL 2024, hitting consecutive sixes to reach 1,000 runs against them. Opening alongside Ishan Kishan for Mumbai Indians, Rohit took charge after Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant chose to bowl first at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. Recovering from his previous golden duck against Rajasthan Royals, Rohit hammered significant boundaries against Delhi's pacers.

Hitman became the second batter, after Virat Kohli, to achieve 1,000 runs against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This marks the second instance where Rohit has crossed the 1,000-run mark against a single team, having previously achieved the milestone against Kolkata Knight Riders.
