Rishabh was officially announced the captain of the Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2024. He will be making a much-awaited comeback in the moneyed league, 14 months post the fatal car crash that happened on 30th December 2022. He was determined to make a strong comeback as he made a miraculous recovery to be fully match-fit ahead of the season. The medical team of the BCCI declared him fully fit to participate in the IPL after he had undergone surgery on three of his ligaments in his right knee a year ago. As life gave Rishabh a new chance he would be keen to grab all the opportunities he will be getting on the way.
