Xtratime Web Desk: Big hitting Australian batsman popularly known as 'the big show' was a big flop in the last five season of Indian Premier League . After his poor performance in last year's IPL played at Emirates he failed to register a single fifty in his name. Surprisingly he failed to hit a single six in the entire tournament last year as well. But at the start of Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) 14th edition he is in very good form with the bat from the very first match.

Maxwell registered his first fifty in the second match that he played in this season. Incidentally this was his first fifty in last 5 season. Then on Sunday versus Kolkata Knigh Riders he was in sublime form as he scored 78 runs to take Royal Challengers Bangalore post 204 runs on the board.

After seeing Maxwell in such good form former England Captain Michael Vaughan feels that Bangalore is the right franchise where he can thrive as cricketer. Explaining the reason behind his this Vaughan says 'Here, he is under the radar, because you have got Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, he is like at the third position, whereas in other teams, he is the one from who usually expectations are high. But now he can sneak under the radar and probably he is not getting as much attention as he gets at other teams. Because there is Virat there, and there is AB de Villiers there. I think it’s been a smart move. Maxwell is a great signing this year for RCB'.
