IPL 2021 : Stokes injury worsen,he needs to have finger surgery
Xtratime Web Desk : Rajasthan Royals dealt a body blow in their very first game of the 14th season of Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) when their talismamic all rounder from England Ben Stokes broke one of his fingers and later he was ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League.
Stokes received this injury while playing against Punjab Kings (PBKS). In that match Rajasthan lost the game by a narrow margin of 4 runs. Stokes opened the innings for Rajasthan in that match.
Ben Stokes have to undergo surgery on his finger for the injury he sustained. England all-rounder Ben Stokes will be out for up to 12 weeks after a repeat X-ray and CT scan on Thursday revealed that he has a fracture of his left index finger. Stokes is currently in India with Rajasthan Royals. He will fly back home tomorrow. He will have surgery in Leeds on Monday. While taking a low catch of Punjab batsman Chris Gayle , Stokes sustained the injury.
