IPL 2021 : Good News for Delhi Capitals as Nortje joins them from quarantine after being 'false positive'
Xtratime Web Desk : Delhi Capitals is treated with a good news today as their star paceman from South Africa who was tested positive for Covid-19 virus two days back is tested negative thrice and joined the team back to practice . Delhi Capitals announced the good news from their official twitter account where they confirmed that Anrich Nortje tested negative thrice after being false positive when tested first time.
Incidentally Nortje and Rabada flew together to come to India from Sputh Africa midway through the Pakistan series. Rabada tested negative and he was allowed to play versus Rajasthan Royals while Nortje had to remain in quarantine . After his negative report came today he is allowed to join the team at practice.
Anrich Nortje was in good form with the ball versus Pakistan . He took 7 wickets from 2 matches that he played. Last year in Emirates Nortje bowled well for the Delhi as well. Now that Anrich is back Delhi pace attack seems very strong on paper.
