XtraTime Web Desk: Chennai Super Kings veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh has once again postponed his flight to UAE for the IPL 2020. The off spinner was scheduled to fly on Tuesday morning but he decided against citing personal reasons. Harbhajan had also skipped the short training camp of CSK that was held in Chennai before the team left for UAE. With Harbhajan once again postponing his trip to Dubai, there are speculations that he might skip the cash rich league this season.

While there are doubts about Harbhajan, CSK’s South African players Faf du Plessis and Lungi Ngidi checked in at the hotel in Dubai. Meanwhile, all the reports came negative for COVID-19 tests carried on the entire team members and as such the franchise can resume training from September 06. There was tension brewing in the camp about the results after two players – Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad – tested positive. But both their tests have also come negative, bringing back a sigh of relief for the camp.

The CSK camp was desperately hoping that there would be no more trouble and the negative report was a shot in the arm. All the players and support-staff will have to undergo another test on September 3. If all of them pass the final hurdle, they will be allowed to take the field from September 5.
