XtraTime Web Desk: South African cricketers Faf du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi hit the turf as they started training for their respective franchises ahead of the 13th Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) in UAE starting from September 19. All the Proteas cricketers underwent a 6 days mandatory quarantine before being allowed to train.

Former Proteas captain Faf Du Plessis will once again don the yellow of Chennai Super King for the upcoming IPL 2020 tournament. He has been an integral member of the Chennai franchise. The CSK team started their training at the ICC Academy in Dubai .The Yellow Army has gone through a lot in the last 2 weeks with Suresh Raina leaving the bio-bubble back to India. Harbhajan Singh also pulled out of IPL 2020 due to ‘personal reasons’ to players and members of support staff tested COVID positive. MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings will take on Mumbai Indians in the opener of IPL 2020 at Abu Dhabi on September 19. Lungi Ngidi too joined CSK training along with Faf.

Delhi Capital’s Kagiso Rabada also joined training for his franchise in Dubai on Monday. The 25 year old fast bowler will be spearheading the Delhi Capital’s bowling attack in the cash rich league.
