Xtra Time Web Desk: In a bid to prepare well for the upcoming test series against West Indies, the Indian cricket team will undergo a week-long camp at Barbados. The Indian test players will assemble at Barbados on July 1-2 before they start their short camp at Kensington Oval. According to information available from West Indies Cricket Board, the Indian players will reach Barbados in batches due to limited availability of large aircrafts flying to Bridgetown.

Following the short camp, the Indian squad will leave for Roseau, the capital of Dominica on July 8-9 for the first test which starts at the Windsor Park from July 12. According to a report in Cricbuzz, the Indian team will play couple of practice games among themselves during the camp.

Meanwhile, the West Indies team will also hold a camp in Antigua. The West Indies Test players will undergo training at the High-Performance Centre at Coolidge Cricket Ground before travelling to Dominica.

The series involves two test matches along with three ODIs and 5 T20Is. The first test match will be played at Windsor Park in Dominica from July 12 while the second test is scheduled to start from July 20 at the Queens Park Oval in Trinidad.
