Xtra Time Web Desk: A strong Indian team led by Shikhar Dhawan left for Colombo on Monday to take part in the white ball series against Sri Lanka. The 20 member squad has a good blend of youth and experience. It has as many as six new faces looking to make a make a mark in international cricket. Former India captain Rahul Dravid will accompany the squad as the Coach of the side. The Indian team will play a three match ODI and T20Is against Kusal Perera led Sri Lanka team. The series will commence from July 13 with the first ODI to be played at the R Premadasa stadium. Ahead of the team’s departure, BCCI shared a group photo on its social media handle Twitter.

The Indian players will be hard quarantining at the hotel for the first three days on reaching the Sri Lankan capital. They will be allowed to practice after July 1 individually or in small groups. The entire team will start training after July 5. The players will also play a intra squad match before the start of the series. All the matches will be played at the R Premadasa stadium.
