India has announced their 26 man squad for the friendlies against Brazil, Uruguay, Panama; No Jhingan, Chhangtein the squad

Xtra Time Newsdesk: India coach Khalid Jamil on Monday announced the 26-member squad for the men's national team for FIFA international matches to be played in September-October.

The Blue Tigers are scheduled to play three international friendlies against higher-ranked opponents, starting with Panama in Bangalore on September 26, five-time world champions Brazil on October 3, and two-time world champions Uruguay on October 6 in Kolkata.

Jamil's team will begin their preparatory training camp on September 14 in Bangalore. After the match against Panama, the Blue Tigers will travel to Kolkata on September 28 to play the remaining two matches.

India squad for Brazil, Uruguay, Panama football friendlies

Goalkeepers: Albino Gomes, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Prabhsukhan Singh Gill, Som Kumar.

Defenders: Abhishek Singh Tekcham, Akash Mishra, Anwar Ali, Bijoy Varghese, Hmingthanmawia Ralte, Jay Gupta, Pramveer, Ricky Meetei Haobam.

Midfielders: Anirudh Thapa, Ashique Kuruniyan, Farukh Choudhary, Lalengmawia Ralte, Macarton Nickson, Mohammed Sanan, Ricky Shabong, Sahal Abdul Samad.

Forwards: Edmund Lalrindika, Irfan Yadwad, Manvir Singh, Rahim Ali, Ryan Williams, Vikram Partap Singh.

Reserves: Hrithik Tiwari (gk), Chinglensana Singh Konsham, Roshan Singh Naorem, Suresh Singh Wangjam
