On 30th June, Rahman unveiled an exuberant video of his latest composition, ‘Team India Hain Hum’, paying tribute to the Indian cricket team’s remarkable achievement.

The Oscar-winning musician shared the video on his social media platform, X, exclaiming, “Celebrating India’s #T20IWorldCup win. Enjoy our #TeamIndia song performance.” The song, composed, arranged, and produced by Rahman himself, captures the jubilant spirit and pride of the nation.

India’s cricket team delivered a stunning performance against South Africa on 29th June, securing their second ICC T20 World Cup title with a 7 run victory in a thrilling final at Barbados. This historic win marks the end of a 17-year wait for the title and breaks an 11-year ICC trophy drought since the Champions Trophy in 2013.
