XtraTime Web Desk: Brazil goalkeeper Alisson will become the first goalkeeper to win three Golden Glove awards in one season having kept five clean sheets in the Copa America.

No other goalkeeper can catch him with the final between Alisson's Brazil and Peru still to come on Sunday evening.

This means the Liverpool No 1 will be awarded the trophy - which is given to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets - regardless of the result this weekend.

The Brazil international also kept the most clean sheets (21) in the Premier League last campaign to win the Golden Glove.

And Alisson also earned the most clean sheets in the Champions League as the Reds lifted the trophy.

The 26-year-old has in fact kept nine clean sheets in a row for club and country.

The last time he conceded a goal was in Jurgen Klopp's side's penultimate league game of the 2018-19 season against Newcastle.

Liverpool signed Alisson from Roma last summer for £66.8million and he was instrumental to the Reds' success last season.

Alisson was signed after Loris Karius made two blunders in the 2018 Champions League final defeat by Real Madrid.
