XtraTime Web Desk: World No.1 Indian test team is struggling with the bat right now as they have already lost a few wickets in Day of the first test in their second innings. While trailing behind 183 runs Openers Mayank Agarwal and Prithvi Shaw came to bat, but unfortunately Shaw didn't last long. After that Cheteshwar Pujara and Mayank Agarwal crafted a partnership of 51 runs for the third wicket and the two took the team's run to 78 runs. After that Boult struck & knocked off the off stump of Pujara who scored 11 runs off 81 deliveries before getting out. Then came skipper Virat Kohli who has been going through bad patch since the beginning of the series. Everyone thought that the captain would pull out the team from danger but he again disappointed everyone as he got out on 19 after facing 43 deliveries. While trying to play a pull shot against Trent Boult's bouncer, Virat missed the shot & nicked the ball. It landed safely in the hands of NZ wicketkeeper BJ Watling & Kohli was seen walking back to the pavilion dejected. Kohli in his last 10 international innings hasn’t been able to cross the 100 run mark even once, which by any other standards, might not be that bad.
