There was no upset this time. India comfortably clinched the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe with a clean 3-0 sweep. In the third and final match in Harare on Sunday, Team India defeated Zimbabwe by 35 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi's brilliant knock of 81 laid the foundation for India's victory.

Batting first, India posted a competitive total of 192/5 in their 20 overs. Suryavanshi starred with the bat, scoring 81 runs off 49 deliveries. It was his second half-century of the series. In the opening match, he had become the youngest cricketer to score a T20I fifty, and once again he delivered a match-winning performance.

In reply, Zimbabwe suffered an early setback as Brian Bennett was dismissed off the very first ball bowled by Mayank Yadav. Bennett had also fallen to Mayank's first delivery in the opening match of the series. Zimbabwe eventually finished on 157/7 in their allotted 20 overs.

Mayank Yadav was the standout bowler for India, claiming 3 wickets for 29 runs, while Yash Thakur picked up two wickets. However, India's fielding was far from impressive, with five catches being dropped by Mayank Yadav, Ishan, Tilak, Suryavanshi, and Harsh Dubey. Had those chances been taken, Zimbabwe's innings could have ended much earlier. Man Of the match And man of the series Vaibhav Sooyavangshi.

The series victory comes as a welcome turnaround for India after losing T20I series against Ireland and England. It also marked Shreyas Iyer's first T20I series win as captain.
