XtraTime Web Desk: Cricket Australia on Thursday officially announced the dates for the forthcoming test series against India later this year. The Indian team will play the only Day Night test match of the four match series at the Adelaide Oval from December 11-15
Virat and his boys will start the tour with 3 T20Is. The first T20I will be played at the Gabba on October 11, second at the Manuka Oval on October 14 and third and the final T20I at the Adelaide Oval on October 17.

The first test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy will be played at the Gabba from December 03-07. Adelaide Oval will host the second test match (Day Night Test) from December 11-15. Melbourne Cricket Ground will host the Boxing Day test match from December 26-30. The final test match which is the pink test will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 03-07.

The Men in Blue will also take part in a three match ODI series following the end of the test series. The three ODIs will be played in Perth (January 12), MCG (January 15) and SCG (January 17).

The itinerary is in line with the earlier FTP that had been planned with a T20I series preceding the T20 World Cup, indicates that the T20 World Cup window is still open. The showpiece event is slated to be held in Australia between October 18 and November 15.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday had denied reports that the men's T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Australia between October 18 and November 15, has been rescheduled to 2022.
