Image Source: chroniclelive[/caption] Internet Desk: Durham opener Keaton Jennings is likely to replace Haseeb Hameed, who was forced to fly home after fracturing his finger. South African Jennings, who plays for English county side Durham is having a great season. He has scored 1,548 runs and seven centuries – including doubles against Yorkshire and Surrey – in Division One of the County Championship, and has qualified for England following a four-year residency period. According to reports in English media, he is the frontrunner to replace young Hameed, until unless there is a late change of minds by the selectors. Kent’s middle order batsman Sam Billings is also in the reckoning to replace Hameed. Billings, who has already played 13 ODI’s for England, is yet to get the test cap. If Jennings is picked in the squad, then he will be the 11th  opening partner of Alastair Cook since the retirement of present selection committee chairman Andrew Strauss. Keaton also has another identity. He is the son of former South African coach Ray Jennings. His mother though is from Sunderland. He has also captained South Africa in U'19 level. Hameed, who made an impressive test debut, will be returning home after fracturing his finger. He got hit by an Umesh Yadav delivery that bounced sharply. Hameed scored an unbeaten 59, batting at No 8 on the fourth and final afternoon of the third Test after taking pain killers. But he couldn't prevent England from slipping to an eight-wicket defeat India leads the five-match series 2-0.
