20161110_163014 Kolkata: The heart-warming story of Indian football has of late re-established the fact why it is called to be more than just a game. Falguni Dutta, Shasthi Duley, Chandan Das and Abed Imam - all four were rated to be great footballers in the context of Indian football. Unfortunately, the lives and their carriers got unexpected stumbles owing to some different reasons. Someone among them had a bike accident before a fatal knee injury and the injuries led him to a zone of frustration which had thrown him to a world of liquor and intoxication, hence his playing carrier got eclipsed. About the other three, someone was linked with an anti-social and had to go to the police custody, someone had disastrous turmoils in his marital life which deviated his famed playing carrier and one had involved his name in drug supply controversy.
Fortunately, the game of football has now resurrected their carriers in a new way. All four have now got the job in producing the future prospects of Indian football in East Bengal Football School of Excellence. All four are now thanking the beautiful game for bringing them back to the field they love the most, the game which gave them the recognition. In an interaction with www.xtratime.in Falguni Dutta was saying,"After the injury, I became a bit frustrated. That is past and I don't want to look back anymore. I've completed my "C" license degree as well and want to work with the kids from now on. I want to live the rest of my life with the game of football." 20161110_163713
ASEAN Cup winning East Bengal midfielder Shasthi Duley was claiming,"It is football which has the power to help forgetting the bitter past. I worked with Southern Samity few days back but now my entire focus is on these kids." Shasthi's former team-mate Chandan Das and Abed Imam though were reluctant to comment on this but are equally grateful to East Bengal and the game of football to help them go back to the life they loved to live the most.

East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar who brought them back to their football life, told XtraTime.in,"Their identity was football and that is why I brought them back to where they belong. I believe that because of some destiny they got derailed a bit but they are now back. I have a plan to open East Bengal Football School of Excellence in every district and I also have a plan to include Dipankar Roy in the coaching panel in future."
