Source : Twitter[/caption] Internet Desk : East Bengal's dream run continues in the 64th Bordoloi Trophy at Guwahati as the Red & Gold brigade thumped four times' Bordoloi Trophy winners' ASEB in their last game of the group stages by 3-0. The Calcutta Football League champions has now an winning streak of 13 games and looking for more as the young team has been improving every game.

East Bengal had already qualified for the semi finals as they won their first two games of the competition. Coach Ranjan Chowdhury thus experimented with the academy boys to give them the exposure in the senior level.
East Bengal took the lead early through Do Dong Hyun in the 6th minute of the game as in-form Jiten Murmu assisted him with a brilliant pass. Winger Prohlad Roy once again scored a phenomenal goal from a fine pass from Korean Do Dong Hyun in the 11th minute of the game.
East Bengal goalkeeper Luis Xavier Barreto had to leave the ground in the 17th minute as he picked up an injury. The first half was dominated by the Kolkata giant as they were leading by 2-0. Academy cadet Yami Longvah put the final nail of the coffin as he scored the third goal for East Bengal in the 68th minute of the game. Yami's performance in two consecutive games would certainly please the East Bengal team management.
The semi finals will be played on the 28th and 29th September respectively.
