Rio 2016: President and Prime Minister of India congratulated Bronze Medalist Sakshi

Also Sakshi received congratulations from all over the country and different arenas of sports. President tweeted, "Hearty congratulations to #sakshimalik for winning a Medal in women's wrestling in #Rio2016 and doing India proud."
Previously Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated her for bringing the first Medal from Rio. He tweeted three times saying, "Sakshi Malik creates history! Congratulations to her for the Bronze. The entire nation is rejoicing." He further added, "On this very auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan, Sakshi Malik, a daughter of India wins a Bronze makes all of us proud." Later he twitted, "Sakshi Malik will inspire several sports persons in years to come."Hearty Congratulations to #SakshiMalik for winning a medal in women's wrestling in #Rio2016 and doing India proud #PresidentMukherjee

Apart from these first two citizens of India the whole nation poured there blessings to the 'golden' Bronze winner. After winning the Medal Sakshi said that she was confident of winning a Medal at Rio platform. "I knew here anything can happen within two seconds. So I tried when I had ten seconds in hand. I knew from the beginning of the day that there is a Medal for me. So I never felt of being out of the match. Finally the Medal is in my hand", she said. All the Medal contenders of Rio congratulated her.
