In the last one week he has been selected as the brand ambassador for five different brands. This shows how much popularity he still exists within himself. Sourav Ganguly batted for decision of 10 years jail for match-fixers. He said, “Match-fixing is very harsh towards the game of cricket. It destroys the reputation of the game. Those who are involved in it and indulging it should be punished. It would be interesting to see that when the bill gets approved in the parliament.” Sourav Ganguly too welcomed the decision Sachin Tendulkar being the Goodwill ambassador. He said, “ Sachin and Abhinav Bindra have been the pride for the country. I welcome them as the Goodwill ambassador for Rio 2016 and would like to congratulate IOA for taking this decision.” Former India captain said that there are no plans of him seeing in a biopic in the near future. He has no plans as such. Regarding the new coach of Atletico de Kolkata, Jose Francisco Molina, the ATK co-owner said, “Hope he would bring more success for us than Habas. Habas has given a lot to our franchise. Wish him all the best for his stint FC Pune City. We are looking forward with Molina and will be setting his plans with him for the upcoming season.” Sourav Ganguly has no plans for watching the finals of the Champions League this time in Milan as he did last time when the Atletico Madrid booked their place in the finale in 2014. On asking him, about ATK’s home ground this season, Dada said, “We are discussing on this issue and will sort it out soon.” Dada feels that Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore have different issues which is denying them from success. He said, “Supergiants’ injuries are a major concern for them. They lost crucial players in crucial situations whereas RCB have given depth in their batting and lagged firepower in bowling.RCB is lacking penetration in their bowling.”
