Image Source: Xtra Time[/caption] Kolkata: Trevor James Morgan to sit in the reserve bench as head coach of East Bengal against Shillong Lajong FC on Saturday. The British coach was registered today as coach of East Bengal for the last match of I-League. Trevor Morgan who was supposed to take charge from Federation Cup is taking it from the last match I-League itself. Asking the gaffer, how is he going to sit in the reserve bench? The Red and Gold British coach in a humorous way replied,” I am neither going to sit as a player nor a physio. I will be sitting as a coach obviously.” Trevor Morgan is not going to change his support staff till the Federation Cup. Sammy Omollo and Sanjay Majhi will be remaining as the support staff of the side. After arriving at Kolkata, today it was the first time he visited East Bengal club tent and had a meeting with all the officials comprising of President Pranab Dasgupta, Secretary Kalyan Majumdar and other officials. It was a long meeting in Debabrata Sarkar’s room where they had a cup of tea. After the meeting, Morgan did not reveal anything about the contract with the club. He replied in a humorous manner, “I have a lifetime contract with East Bengal or it may be 10 years.” Then he said,” Nothing was discussed about my contract. I was just here to have a chat with the officials and a cup of tea.” The British coach had a chat with Kalyan Majumdar who was known to be against the appointment of Morgan as the coach of East Bengal in his room and they both welcomed themselves in a grand manner. On asking Morgan about his relationship with Kalyan Majumdar, the Red and Gold gaffer said,” I never had any poor relationship with any officials. When I left East Bengal it was a on a good note and now when I have  come back it is too on a good note. Everything is fine.”
