Where is Team India’s Gabba hero T Natarajan now ? Know about the left arm pacer, who went on to from a net bowler to earn a Test cap

Xtra Time Web Desk : It was not long ago that whole of India was buzzing in order to welcome back their heroes who created history on Australian soil at the start of this year. Team India had many heroes in the 2020-21 Australia tour, but a major name that stood out on that tour was T Natarajan.


The left arm Tamil Nadu pacer, T Natarajan who skyrocketed to break into the Indian Team, courtesy of an incredible person IPL 2020 season, was no less than a revelation on his debut. The Australia tour saw a new star born for Team India, when the left arm pacer impressed everyone with his variations to be considered a strong contender contender for a place in the India’s limited over format teams.


And later on that Aussie tour, when Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav were all injured for the fourth Test in Gabba, Natarajan stood up for the Team and took 3 important wickets in the first innings. Thus he went from being a net bowler to earn a Test cap for Team India. But the brilliant story didn’t last long as injuries and COVID have plagued the career of the 30 year old regularly since then.


Now, fighting to come back on to the cricket field after missing most of the cricket this year due to injury, Natarajan is currently at his village setting up ‘Natarajan Cricket Ground.’

Announcing about his move, the left arm pacer took to his Twitter to write, “Happy to Announce that am setting up a new cricket ground with all the facilities in my village, Will be named as NATARAJAN CRICKET GROUND (NCG) #DreamsDoComeTrue Last year December I Made my debut for India, This year (December) am setting up a cricket ground #ThankGod.”


It would now be interesting to see how one of the finest prospects of Indian cricket, makes his way back into the field.
