Kalyani: Mohammedan Sporting has brought some serious allegations against Uttam Sarkar, the referee of the Mohammedan Sporting vs Mohun Bagan game and also writing a complaint letter to The IFA by saying that the referee abused their player Tirthankar Sarkar during the game. A few of the Mohammedan Sporting players too affirmed the allegation by saying that the players too heard it.
On the flip side the Black Panthers want to defer their next couple of games, as the Mohammedan Sporting official Belal Khan said, “The players need the recovery time. We are requesting IFA to change the dates. We want to play the game against Railway FC on the 14th September instead of 13th and want to play the East Bengal match on the 17th instead of 16th.”
Though The IFA Secretary Utpal Ganguly told www.xtratime.in on phone, “I am out of Kolkata now. So I can’t give any official statement from here. Let me come back and I will revert the issue.”
