Debasis Sen, Colombo: A Sri Lankan fan whisked past the security arrangements here and went straight into the middle when the Indian cricketers were having their net practice today at the R Premadasa Stadium. The fan was seen taking a selfie with former India captain MS Dhoni, while he was batting in the nets alongside Indian captain Virat Kohli. Dhoni will be achieving a milestone of playing his 300th ODI when he walks into the middle on Thursday.

The fan was seen requesting Dhoni for a selfie. He wanted to shake his hands with him as well. Dhoni did oblige as he posed for the selfie and extended his hands (with batting gloves on) to shake hands with him. The whole incident though looked funny for a moment has left a huge question mark on the security arrangement for the Indian cricketers here. The fan was later removed from the practice arena by the BCCI support staff.

Meanwhile left arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav, who is all set to get his first match in the ODI series on Thursday is excited to be playing alongside Dhoni on his milestone match. According to Kuldeep, “There is no comparision. Nobody can judge you and your performance better than him. He keeps interacting with us while being behind the stumps. I feel honoured that I will be a part of his 300th ODI. You get to learn a lot if you are playing with a legend like him.”
