Internet Desk: Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has taken a post-retirement avatar as a singer. The batting maestro will sing a song for Bollywood star singer Sonu Nigam, as per media reports.
According to the reports the song lyrics is like this: “Gend aayi, bala ghuma, mara chaka, Sachin, Sachin… nacho nacho sab cricket wali beat pe…”
“I have thanked all the cricketers with whom I have played in the six World Cups,” said Tendulkar according to the report.
Sonu Nigam was impressed with Sachin’s performance in the song.
“Singers can’t get their pitch right, to see the master pitching right in the music was heartening. We didn’t have to use a pitch corrector for Sachin,” he told the reporters.
This was made public during the launch of Sachin’s “Digital Innings”, as he says it an app named 100MB which will be a platform for everything Sachin. He also told that the the song will be played on this application on Sunday at 10 pm.
According to the sources, Sonu Nigam has sung the anthem for Tendulkar’s upcoming biopic titled ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams.’
This is not the first time the master blaster has shown his interest for music. Couple of months ago he had shared the stage with table maestro Zakir Hussain.
