Internet Desk: Star Indian boxer Vijender Singh continued his winning spree in the professional arena with an easy win over Matiouze Royer of France at London’s Copper Box Arena on Saturday.

This was Vijender’s fifth win in a row in professional boxing in the middleweight (75kg) category – all of them by knockout or technical knockout.

As with his previous professional bouts, the Indian dominated the fight from the word go. Royer, who is a veteran of 44 fights, claiming 3 of his 14 wins via knockout, was shown little respect by the Olympic bronze medalist who completely outclassed his French opponent.

Vijender was declared the winner little over a minute into the fifth round of the six-round super middleweight contest, which was incidentally his longest bout so far.
