This is what Sourav Ganguly told jokingly to Parvez Musharraf about MS Dhoni

XtraTime Web Desk:
Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf is a big fan of MS Dhoni not only for his playing skills but also for his long hairs. Dhoni won many hearts in Pakistan on his maiden tour across the border in 2006. The wicketkeeper-batsman played a couple of match-winning knocks during India’s 4-1 win in the ODI series and made himself an indispensable member of the Indian side. As it turns out, Sourav Ganguly, who had led the team during to Pakistan during the 2006 tour, has recalled Musharraf’s admiration for Dhoni. The former India captain revealed that Musharraf had asked him where he had found Dhoni and that he had jokingly told the former Pakistan leader he picked up the big-hitting stumper from near the Wagah border.

“I still remember Pervez Musharraf asking me from where did you get him? I told him he was walking near the Wagah border and we pulled him in,” Ganguly said while speaking at Tollygunge Club in Kolkata.

“He [Dhoni] is another champion… Fantastic career for 12-13 years since winning the World Twenty 20. Just like everyone else he has to perform,” Ganguly added. “There’s one must in life: whatever job you do, wherever you are, whatever age you have, how much experience you have, you have to keep performing at the top level otherwise someone else will take your place.”
