Internet Desk: Newly appointed India coach Ravi Shastri is the latest celebrity to be trolled on twitter. The former Team India Director, who replaced Anil Kumble as the Head Coach on Tuesday was trolled by the fans. The three member Cricket Advisory Committee selected Ravi Shastri as the coach, while former India cricketers Rahul Dravid and Zaheer Khan was appointed batting and bowling consultants respectively.
The fans were quick to take to twitter, posting hilarious comments on the selection of these three great cricketers. What surprised them was what role Shastri will play when he will have two men beside him, who are undoubtedly the best in their business. Both Zaheer Khan and Rahul Dravid share the same stature as Shastri.
Previously, when Shastri was the Team Director, Sanjay Bangar was the batting coach while Bharat Arun served as the bowling coach. Both of them definitely did not enjoy the same status as Shastri. But with Dravid (on overseas test series) and Zaheer, there may be a clash of egos.
The fans are a bit confused what Shastri’s exact role with the team would be.
