Kolkata: The Tribute and Talent Hunt, 2017 organised by the Kalighat Sports Lovers Association in association with Ray Foundation will be on April 7 and April 8, 2017.
The Association will pay glowing tribute to Late Sailen Manna and Late Amal Dutta. Some eminent sports personalities would be felicitated in course of the two-day event beginning April 7.
The eight teams that would be participating in this tournament include Mohun Bagan Football Academy, East Bengal Football Academy, Mohammedan Football Academy, Baranagar Sports Football Academy, Durbar Sports Football Academy, Bidhannagar Football Academy, Southern Samiti Football Academy and United Sports Academy.
This eight teams will fight for the top honours in the Sailen Manna Smiriti Challenge Tournament. The winning team would be given the Sailen Manna Trophy and the runners-up will get the Amal Dutta Trophy. The best goalkeeper will get the Sibaji Banerjee Trophy and the Man of the Tournament will get the C.R.Das Trophy.
