Xtra Time Web Desk: Australian Captain Aaron Finch and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson would like to lay their hands on the glittering ICC T20 World Cup trophy when the trans-Tasman rivals face off in the final here on Sunday. A win for either side will ensure their maiden title since the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2007.

New Zealand and Australia knocked out the two top-ranked teams in the semi-finals, in England and Pakistan respectively, to seal their places in the final.

Both sides are packed with game changers in the likes of David Warner, Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch while New Zealand will boast of Martin Guptill, Jimmy Neesham and Captain Kane Williamson.

On the bowling front both the teams has some great fast bowlers. While Australia has the pace trio of Josh Hazzlewood, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins, New Zealand too have in their ranks Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Adam Milne. BlackCaps will have a slight edge as far as spin bowling department is concerned. Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi have enjoyed more success in the ongoing tournament than Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell.

The Kiwis will miss Devon Conway, who has been ruled out of the final with a hand injury. Conway was in great touch in five matches against Australia earlier in the year, making 192 runs at an average of 48, including a top score of 99 not out.

It seems Australia will go unchanged from the side that played against Pakistan in the second semi-final. While New Zealand will be forced to make a change with injured Conway making way for Tim Seifert.
