Will star Indian cricketers be seen in action in T20 Global League in South Africa next year.

Internet Desk: There is a possibility that few star Indian cricketers might be seen in action during the inaugural T20 Global League in South Africa next year. Cricket South Africa (CSA) is reportedly hopeful of securing the services of Indian players for next year’s T20 Global League.

The much hyped first edition of the T20 Global League was forced to be postponed by the CSA owing to financial viability. It was an embarrassing time for CSA, but plans are currently in place to try and get the tournament off the ground in November 2018.

And, according to a report on Cricinfo, CSA wants to explore the possbility of securing a few Indian stars for the competition.

But whether or not the Indian cricketers are allowed to take part in the Global League will depend upon the tight domestic and international schedule of the BCCI.

CSA president Chris Nenzani said he was hopeful that BCCI would give the nod ahead for a few of the biggest Indian stars playing in the inaugural edition.

Nenzani added that he would be having discussions with Indian representatives over the coming summer, saying that the inclusion of Indian players would “open up a huge market for us”.
